Juan José Baños

He is licensed in Information Sciences by the Autonomous University of Barcelona, where he simultaneously attended studies in Law.

He has developed and develops a successful professional work in the field of communications, he managed a reference newspaper and advises multinationals and institutions of great prestige.

He was a full member of the World Editors Forum of the World Association of Newspapers (WAN) with headquarters in Paris, taking part in the selective annual meetings, what gave him an excellent international view in the field of communications. He took part in the full session of the Chamber of Commerce of Bilbao, jury member of the Universal Basque of the Year since its foundation and under the Basque Government Prospects and Labour Savings Bank, and has been developing an intense activity in the conference and public intervention fields, both in the press as in radio and television.

As strong social and cultural complements, he practices as benefactor corporate member of the Guggenheim Museum and he was member of the Patronage of the Fine Arts Museum.

He is currently working as partner and general manager of Business & Media being the highest responsible of the company’s reference projects. To contribute to a greater citizen visibility of a public institution of first level, to give the keys for reactivating the online bet of a cultural organization leader in its field or of the greater entity in terms of employment in its territory, to impel the activity both online and off-line of the greater and most innovative expositive agent of the Atlantic Arc, to generate an image in reliable companies of property development or fiscal and legal consultants, to respond to the challenge of trying to make profitable the communication in the network or to bind that communication in a multinational company with global leading vocation have been and/or are the challenges which Business&Media faces with success under his management.

He also achieved for Bilbao the World Corporate Games 2007, to take place in July, with participants from all over the world, thanks to the looking approach and bet of the Bilbao corporation leaded by its mayor Iñaki Azkuna.
